Simple Terms, Happy times 

We like to keep things simple — here are the key points about hiring with Rooted Events:

📅 Booking & Payment
  • A deposit is needed to secure your booking.

  • The remaining balance is due before your event.

  • Your booking is confirmed once the deposit is paid.

❌ Cancellations
  • Deposits are non-refundable.

  • If you cancel close to the event date, we may not be able to refund payments.

  • If we ever have to cancel (for example due to extreme weather), we’ll refund you in full.

⏰ Hire Period
  • Standard hire is for a weekend (Friday–Sunday).

  • Longer hire can be arranged if needed — just ask!

🏕 Set-Up & Space
  • We take care of all set-up and pack-down.

  • Please make sure we have enough space and safe access to your site.

  • Tents need to go on flat, clear ground.

🔥 Safety
  • No smoking, candles, or open flames inside the tents.

  • Please don’t move or alter the tents once they’re set up.

  • Lighting is battery-powered unless we’ve agreed otherwise.

🪞 Damage & Security
  • You’re responsible for the tents and equipment while they’re with you.

  • Any damage or loss may result in extra charges.

  • Sometimes we take a security deposit, which is refunded after collection if everything’s in good order.

🌦 Weather

Our tents are designed for most weather, but in extreme conditions we may need to cancel or adjust for safety.

📸 Photos

We sometimes take photos of our set-ups for our website and social media. Let us know if you’d prefer us not to.
